From the Chairman
I want to thank the many artists who donated work that was sold at our successful fundraising aution last fall at the Chelsea Art Museum and other friends who supported us through cash donations and in-kind services. Your generosity, plus an NEA grant, have propelled us along in our effort to digitize and thereby preserve our growing historic archive of 900 plus audio and videotape recordings. To that end, as of this writing, digitizing of the entire audio-only portion of the archive, comprising almost 65%, has been completed. We are now busy digitizing the remaining portion which is composed of mainly the 3/4 inch video masters. We expect that the project will be fully completed some time this winter. Meanwhile, another exciting auction is planned for the spring of 2008 and we hope you will support us as generously as you did the "Objects of Desire" in 2006.
