Title: Postmark Deadline for Submissions Going Postal Benefit Show and Sale
Description: Going Postal is a unique benefit show and sale of original, postcard-size artworks on paper by established and emerging artists. It will be held March 27. All artwork is being exhibited anonymously, and the identity of the artist will be revealed only after the work is purchased. Proceeds benefit the Artists Talk on Art ARCHIVE FUND only. Description: Jim Kempner will share his journey from stand up commedian to gallery owner and director since 1987. Fifteen years ago, both the gallery and everyone in it began to look suspiciously like a theater, and 'The Madness of Art,' was born. Jim will guide us down the path that led him to combine both his talents. Illustrated with hilarious sections of videos from, 'The Madness of Art.'

Title: Leon Golub: "Raw Nerve" Paintings Yesterday for Today
Description: Currently at the Metropolitan Museum Breuer building (thru May 27) Leon Golub's paintings of heroic figures caught in the socio-political turmoil of the 70's thru the early 2000's speak powerfully to today's political climate. This panel will pay homage to his vision combining memories of people who knew him with people who today carry on his message in their art and actions. Panelists will include members of the sudience who will be invited to share how Leon's art has inspired their own political activity today. An open microphone is reserved for members of the audience. All are encouraged to bring flyers, information sheets etc to leave at the Sharing Table. Do bring any announcements, events you are involved in for our sharing table.
